Me-My companion (Vernacular photography)
Photographing has been a fascination ever since for enticing colors, nostalgia, freezing moments, is all a quiet world in being and building a different thought process altogether, credits to my father for his creative ideas with his Mamiya film camera that lives unperturbed through my childhood mind.
Mamiya film camera is my first experimental piece, gradually started to dream of owning Nikon F80/N80 film body, times changed with the quick onset of digital era, I got my Canon Powershot S5 IS the magic piece that has nothing to remark upon - even todate, with its powerful 12x Optical Zoom, excellent Image stabilization - that drove me wide and wild. As times favored to upgrade into a DSLR the Canon 550D is a delicate choice with an anticipation for better low light performance, HD video feature and 18MP that works as a 1.5x built in converter w.r.t its predecessor 450D (especially comparing with my S5 IS a 8MP sensor - greedy to view saturn rings, venus phases, jupiter moons) now realizing short comings i.e. have to go for good lens, develop steady hands and with more MegaPix poorer S/N ratio. DSLR looks all pain, processing RAW is most time gone on PC. A mentor of high standards is always a great experience to introspect self,. this learning seems to never end,. Me and my companion.......presenting our way.
